For Anna's fifth birthday, we had a weekend long celebration.
Here's what she did:
- picked out, baked, and decorated her own birthday cake - this year it was:
strawberry cake with vanilla icing and sprinkles (YUM!)
- a birthday celebration and cake with our friends the Hardin's
- a birthday dinner and dessert at The T-Rex Cafe
- a birthday gift of going to The Great Wolf Lodge
Here is some of the fun stuff she got to do at the TGWL:
- went to storytime in her pajamas with over 40 other kids
- slept in the top bunk of a bunk bed for the first time! (and loved it)
- beat Papa at a game of air hockey
- got a slinky :)
- had fun with Micaiah jumping on the top bunk of the bed
- went swimming, down slides, and crossed a rope course
- woke up early to watch cartoons while laying in the bunk bed
- got to put on a puppet show with Papa for Micaiah
- painted a turtle magnet!
- got to ride in an inner-tube down a BIG slide!
It was a fun filled weekend!
And it was such a joy to celebrate Anna on her 5th birthday.
Anna is such a sweet and spunky girl.
In this past year, Anna has learned that she really likes picking out her own clothes
and...would wear a skirt or dress everyday if Mama and Papa would not intervene.
Along with her playful girl attitude, she is learning the ropes of being a big sister.
I love the times when only Anna can make Micaiah laugh that hard!!!
And when Anna "defends" herself with her Tae Kwon Do moves.
Anna, you are a very special girl and we love you.
